Every stage of feeding brings its own questions — here’s where our support tends to land.
Latching & Feeding Pain
Painful Latching · Difficulty Latching
When feeding hurts or your baby won’t take the breast, small adjustments can make a real difference — and it’s rarely as simple as “just relax.”
Focuses: latching technique · positioning · nipple pain · suspected tongue-tie
Milk Supply & Duct Concerns
Low Supply · Oversupply · Mastitis
Supply concerns are some of the most common, and most stressful, feeding challenges — including worrying whether your baby is gaining enough weight. We help you understand what’s happening and build a plan that fits your body.
Focuses: low milk supply · oversupply · baby's weight gain · blocked ducts · mastitis
Pumping & Returning to Work
Pumping · Storage · Supplementing
Feeding doesn’t stop being complicated once it’s working — pumping, storing, and supplementing bring their own questions, especially heading back to work.
Focuses: pumping & expressing · milk storage · supplementing · returning to work
Prenatal Breastfeeding Education
Before Baby Arrives
Fast, rhythmic movements to move fluid through the lymphatic system. Debloating, circulation, hormonal balance and a sculpting effect. Hydrate before.
Focuses: milk production · latching & positioning · pumping & storage · partner support
Every Feeding Situation
Adoption & Surrogacy · Post-Surgery
Not every feeding journey looks the same. We support families feeding an adopted or surrogate baby, breastfeeding after breast surgery, or starting fresh after a difficult first experience.
Focuses: adopted & surrogate feeding · breastfeeding after breast augmentation or reduction · previous challenges

Melodie Lumague
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & Registered Nurse
Hi, I’m Melodie (she/her). I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and registered nurse, with over 15 years supporting moms and babies through pregnancy, newborn feeding, and beyond — in person and virtually.
As a mom of 3, I understand the stress of struggling to breastfeed a newborn firsthand. After three bouts of mastitis with my first child, and a second who struggled to gain weight, I finally found the right support myself — and my goal now is to bring that same support to other families.

Understanding the service
What is an IBCLC?
An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) has met rigorous clinical, educational, and exam-based standards set by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners — it’s the most recognized credential in lactation care.
Working with a lactation consultant isn’t about being handed a feeding plan and sent on your way. It starts with understanding your baby’s latch, your body, and your goals, then builds a plan that actually fits how the two of you feed together.
FAQs
Have questions? We’re here to help guide you through your feeding journey.
When should I seek lactation support?
Any time feeding feels harder than it should — from before your baby arrives through latching difficulties, supply concerns, pain, or simply wanting reassurance.
How many appointments will I need?
This varies — some families need one session for a specific concern, others benefit from ongoing support through a longer feeding journey.
Do you see families who are pumping and bottle feeding?
Yes. Support covers pumping, expressing, storing, and supplementing with breast milk, alongside direct breastfeeding.
What should I prepare before my appointment?
Just bring yourself and your baby. It can help to note when feeds are happening and any specific concerns.
Are appointments covered by insurance or extended health benefits?
Coverage varies by plan. Contact your insurance provider directly to confirm what your extended health benefits cover.
